Le Quang Liem

World Blitz Champion 2013; current Asian Champion

Le Quang Liem is the top-ranked chess player in Vietnam and the current Asian champion. He has competed for Team Vietnam at the Chess Olympiads since 2006. Liem won a gold medal at the 2003 Asian Youth Chess Championships, held in Calicut, India, in the U-12 category. He has a host of U-12 and U-14 trophies to his name. Known for his tactical playing style and calm demeanour, Le Quang Liem is one of the finest GMs playing today.
